Union Street Dance (USD), home of Eva Dean Dance, is an entire floor of a 1,600 square foot loft in Park Slope. The studio features a 25’ by 40’ dance space with masonite marley and state of the art sprung wood floor. The studio is equipped with a 38’ mirrored wall, portable ballet barres, three high grade Austin HEPA filters, and a Whynter dehumidifier.

Our History
Eva Dean founded USD in 2000, and has been the Artistic Director from its inception to present day. Until August 1st 2022, we provided subsidized rehearsal space to over 100 choreographers a year. The subsidized dance rehearsal rental program at USD was made possible in part with public funds from New York State Council of the Arts, Mertz Gilmore Foundation, and New York City’s Department of Cultural Affairs.
